Functional Nutrition Counselor & Functional Nutrition & Lifetime Practitioner

Originally from Colombia, my journey with digestive health began at 15 years old when I realized that living with daily pain wasn't normal. Like many women, I turned to traditional medicine seeking relief, and while I learned to manage various symptoms, I didn't yet understand the deeper connection between my gut, stress, and overall wellbeing.

After 13 years climbing the corporate ladder across multiple companies, my body finally demanded I listen. What I later discovered was a perfect storm: non-celiac gluten sensitivity, chronic inflammation, and stress levels that had pushed me into complete burnout. The high-achieving life I'd built was slowly breaking me down.

​

The decision to leave my corporate career wasn't easy, but it became necessary. And in that space of slowing down to spend more time with my 4-year-old son, something unexpected happened—I began to heal.

Without the pressure of busy routines, I rediscovered her lifelong love of cooking. From making desserts and juices as a child to navigating kitchens across different parts of the world, food had always been her love language. But now, it became something more profound: a bridge to understanding her body.

In the kitchen, I learned to pause. To breathe. To notice how my body responded to different foods, different rhythms, different levels of stress. Cooking became my meditation, my way of showing love—both to others and to myself.

As I trained as a functional practitioner, the pieces started coming together. I discovered I'm a highly sensitive person (HSP), which means I experience the world—and stress—more intensely than most. This revelation was life-changing. It explained why stress had such a profound impact on my gut health and why traditional approaches hadn't fully worked for me.

​

Through years of learning and experimentation, I transformed my health by:

  • Adding more colorful, nourishing foods

  • Learning to breathe and pause intentionally

  • Balancing my microbiome

  • Honoring my sensitivity as a strength, not a weakness

The results? Less pain. More energy. Better sleep. A balanced immune system. And most importantly, a deep understanding of my body's wisdom.

I've built an special relationship with my gut—one built on years of listening, learning, and making new connections. This intimate knowledge of struggle and healing is what fuels my passion for helping other ambitious women understand their own bodies and stories.

​

I believe deeply in bio-individuality. There's no one-size-fits-all solution because each of us carries a unique story that has shaped how we feel today. You are the hero of your health journey, and my role is to help you connect with your body's intuitive wisdom.

When you learn to slow down, listen deeply, and take care of yourself with intention, you open the door to something beautiful: true happiness, lasting peace, and genuine healing.
